  I called and asked can my 6yr old daughter be seen because she is sick. The receptionist said can you come now because we are about to close. I said yes I don't live far. Receptionist asked will you be paying for an office visit or do you have insurance? I said Do you take Cigna? She says yes, may I have you member id off your ins card. I gave it to her and other info off the card said I'm on my way. took my little girl out in damp cool weather, rushed to the dr. office. I get there gave her my ins card. Receptionist says I cannot get in touch w/ anyone at Cigna so you will need to pay for a full office visit. I said I have my copay which is $20. She said no a full office visit payment that's our policy. I said to her, you said you take Cigna. She says but I cannot verify your copay or benefit plan. I said can you take the $20 and if you find that it's more bill me my daughter is sick. I rushed all the way here for what!! There were no other patients there. Receptionist talks to someone in the back who did not show their face, and came back to say sorry you have to pay upfront. I said I'm unable to that at this time, and this doctor & her receptionist turned me & my sick 6 yr old away with NO CARE OR MEDICAL TREATMENT!!! For this doctor and her staff, money & being able to verify your copay is more important than a sick child that has insurance but had no control of the copay not being able to be verified. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN & WILL NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO TAKE THEIR CHILDREN TO THIS RIDICULOUS DOCTOR EITHER!!!
