    Absolutely worst experience I've ever had in this hobby. I originally posted a negative review here as a means to open dialog up with the owners of this company, after being treated very poorly over the phone by one of their employees. The way this company reacted was so over the top it borderlines on the ridiculous.

    I initially drove 1.5 hours to meet with JSA authenticators to look at 4 different items I wanted to submit. From previous experience this process is typically painless, you drop the item off, wait 2 or 3 hours come back and they tell you if it passes or not. When I came back almost 3 hours later I'm told they passed two of my items, and the other two they were "uncertain" about, and I would have to wait on my LOAs through the mail. I was taken back by this response and said I was surprised they didn't get it done, how long would it take for me to receive these letters? The answer was 3 weeks.

    JSA has no means to track items online. Everything is done with a phone call, and they refused to ship my LOAs to my PO Box, which other companies don't seem to have a problem with. I called JSA a few days later to see if I could get any information from them concerning my items and I was told they were not allowed to divulge information over the phone, and that my LOAs had not even been printed up yet. Everything with this phone conversation was friendly until I mentioned that I typically use one of their competitors for authentication because I can track the items online and I don't have to call their offices. The woman instantly went hot to cold on me and started saying "You can use anybody you want. We don't care! Go use that other company if you want next time!" I was instantly taken back. I just spent $200 with this company and got a representative of the company telling me they don't care about my business. I told her next time I would and hung up.

    The next day I was still angry about this exchange, and decided to post this yelp review (which I'm now rewriting). After posting this review I felt guilty in that the company may not see it, so I posted on their facebook wall about my experience. I went back to their facebook wall a little later to see I was blocked. I then emailed them, to which Jimmy Spence, Jr, the owner's son, calls me yelling and screaming, saying he's never had a problem with bad customer support (looking over their reviews here prove that's untrue), and that people like me are "the reason why the country is so messed up right now". He then puts the woman who treated me poorly the day before on the phone to berate me some more. I told him I'd delete this review (which I won't now), but I don't even think he heard me over his yelling. I asked him for a refund to which he screams "YOU WILL WAIT UNTIL YOU GET YOUR LOAs AND ACCEPT OUR OPINION!". I was tempted to call my bank and reverse payment on him, but I figured I agreed to three weeks upon payment I would wait. Him and the woman kept berating me until I finally hung up on them, laughing and shaking my head.

    Fast forward 5 weeks, I'm still waiting on my LOAs. I finally got them today, slightly damp, wrinkled and looking like they've been in someone's back pocket. Although I told Junior 5 weeks ago I would never be using them again, he was nice enough to include a letter saying I'm now "blacklisted" from using JSA, and that they will never accept any business from me as long as I live.

    So in short, if you're looking for a company to send you valuables to, which would be like throwing them in a blackhole for a month, where you can't get any update and if you dare breath a word about it on social media you'll get blacklisted, JSA is the company for you. For me, I'll deal with their competitors who know the definition of customer service, and allow customers to track their items on their respective websites.
