  I would recommend this nail salon to anyone who is looking for quality work. The staff was very friendly as I watched their interactions with other clientele, the owner was sweet and inviting and the technicians were skilled. Sarah was my nail technician and she did the best job that I could have asked for. Without me saying a word she new exactly how I wanted my nails and she strived for perfection in every detail. When I left I called my mom and my girlfriends to tell them about what a great experience I had. The salon is so convenient and right next to my work as well so it's location was prime for me. I can't wait to go back in 2 weeks to see Sarah again. I know I won't be disappointed.

  I used to come to Joy Nails and then switched to different nail places a few months back near my work for convenience. However no other place did as good job as Joy nails. I am back for good and very happy with their services.

  I went to get a full set of gel tips. First red flag, she didn't have me wash my hands. When I asked if I should wash my hands she waved her hand, shook her head, and said sit. I could've had bacteria on my fingers and it could've gotten into a cut. By the way she did cut my pinky finger and continued to file over that area. She did not touch my cuticles, not once. She had horrible shaping issues. The nails on the one side were thick and lumpy and the other side were thin and completely uneven. I had to file the sides when I got home so they looked straight but they're still lumpy. It took me 5 minutes to file them. Why couldn't she do that?? She also started the gel so far from my cuticle that it looked like I had had the nails on for a week already and looked like my nails had grown out. I showed her two pictures, one of what I wanted the nail shape and length to be and a second picture just for the color. She kept getting confused and I was trying to explain to her, but she wasn't understanding me and I couldn't understand what she was saying. Bottom line for $70 ($7 per nail) I should've had a great experience, clean service, well shaped, consistent nails, and a person that can understand and communicate with the me easily. I just said they looked good and left because I don't like confrontation. I am extremely underwhelmed and disappointed in my nails.
